After 19 years in the photography industry, I’ve learned that truly beautiful images come from more than just camera knowledge alone ... They come from a mix of experience, passion, intuition and a deep understanding of light, detail, perfect camera settings and the patience of advanced retouching.
I’ve spent nearly two decades perfecting my craft through both portrait photography and product/commercial work, which has given me an advanced technical foundation and a sharp eye for quality. My background in product photography taught me precision...How every small detail, texture and reflection can make or break an image. I bring that same meticulous attention to my portraits, ensuring every photo feels polished, cohesive and refined.
What truly sets my work apart is the way I edit. Each individual photo is hand-edited, not batch processed or rushed. Every portrait is refined manually, using high-level techniques I’ve developed over the past 20 years. This process takes time, but it’s what gives my photos their signature clarity, tone and artistic finish.
In today’s world, anyone can pick up a camera, download a few presets and start calling themselves a photographer. But there’s a huge difference between taking photos and truly crafting them. Many modern photographers rely heavily on automatic settings and quick filters/presets... which often leads to work that feels flat, generic and repetitive.
I’m not here to put anyone down, there’s room for everyone in this industry - But I believe being a professional photographer takes far more than just a few clicks. It requires an understanding of manual settings, lighting control, composition and advanced retouching that comes only from years of experience. My clients invest in my work because they see the care, skill and artistry behind every photo...Not just another cookie-cutter edit, but a portrait that truly feels alive and unique.
